GridLock
GridLock isn't tic-tac-toe. It's nine games of tic-tac-toe, wired together. Every move you make decides which board your opponent has to play next.
Win a small board, and you claim one square on the big board. Win three in a row on the big board, and you win the game. Simple to learn, genuinely hard to master because the cell you pick doesn't just win you a square, it forces your opponent's hand.
The Wild Board
One board on the grid glows red, marked with a crosshair. Win it, and you don't just claim it you claim its mirror board too, even mid-play. It's the single highest-value target on the grid, and both you and the AI know it.
Play your way
- Vs AI — a strategic (but beatable) computer opponent, ready anytime
- Vs a friend — real peer-to-peer multiplayer, no account or server needed. Create a game, send a short code, they join. That's it.
- A coin flip decides who moves first, every game, no home-board advantage
- One undo per game, and a 20-second clock per move to keep things moving
Make it yours
- 5 achievements to hunt down, from a flawless win to a clutch last-second move
- Unlockable cosmetic sets — swap your X and O for a glowing energy shield and crossed plasma swords, or a holiday-themed set, as you rack up achievements
- Full match history tracked locally, so you always know your record
